A Licensed Bachelor Social Worker renewal requires 30 hours of continuing education every 2 years.
Required hours
- At least 3 hours must be in ethics.
- At least 3 hours must be in anti-oppressive practice, delivered Category I (formal, organized learning).
What's capped
- No more than 15 hours may be Category II (independent or informal activities).

Licensed Certified Social Worker-Clinical
A Licensed Certified Social Worker-Clinical renewal requires 40 hours of continuing education every 2 years.
Required hours
- At least 20 hours must be Category I (formal, organized learning).
- At least 3 hours must be in ethics.
- At least 3 hours must be in anti-oppressive practice, delivered Category I (formal, organized learning).
