Licensed Clinical Psychologist
A Licensed Clinical Psychologist renewal requires 24 hours of continuing education every 2 years.
Required hours
- At least 3 hours must be in ethics.
- At least 3 hours must be in cultural_competency.
- At least 1 hours must be in sexual_harassment.
- At least 1 hours must be in implicit_bias.
- At least 1 hours must be in dementia within the previous 6 years (a one-time requirement).
- At least 1 hours must be in cultural_competency within the previous 6 years (a one-time requirement).
- At least 1 hours must be in child_abuse within the previous 3 years (a one-time requirement).
What's capped
- No more than 10 hours may come from instruction,presentation.
- No more than 10 hours may come from presentation.

A Prescribing Psychologist renewal requires 44 hours of continuing education every 2 years.
Required hours
- At least 20 hours must be in psychopharmacology.
- At least 3 hours must be in ethics.
- At least 3 hours must be in cultural_competency.
- At least 1 hours must be in sexual_harassment.
- At least 1 hours must be in implicit_bias.
- At least 1 hours must be in dementia within the previous 6 years (a one-time requirement).
- At least 1 hours must be in cultural_competency within the previous 6 years (a one-time requirement).
